So, so that is how that is how the algorithms works. So, basically it will push what you personally like rather than that what can be possibly true. So, I what I believe is that the uh uh the thought of the people mostly is reasoned by the uh machines itself to a certain extent. I mean, we're certainly we're certainly getting a lot more uh information from uh machines heading our way. Uh and my uh a couple of episodes I've done in the past and some I'm doing in the near future are all about cognitive biases, how the brain works, how memory works. We think our memory works this way. It doesn't.
It actually works this way. It's completely different than what you think. And so our brains don't even work the way that we think they do. So it's no surprise. I don't think it's nefarious. I don't think there was a a concerted effort to do this. It's just kind of one of those unhappy accidents that by chance in order to make money because that's what we're all about is making money. Um, the way that these companies make money also happens to tweak the way that people think and sort of exploit these uh blind spots and these cognitive biases that we have and help create a more polarized society.
